A 31-year-old pregnant lady was the latest victim of notorious snatch thieves when she was attacked by two men on a motorcycle on Sunday. Jamilah Selamat suffered head injuries after falling from her motorcycle and died at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital at 7.30am.

The four Taiwanese chemists who were brought into Malaysia were charged today for trafficking 1,439kg of drugs worth RM61 million. The men are 36-year-old Chung Sheng Wen, 34-year-old Chang Yen Ming, 30-year-old Chang Yung Sheng, and 30-year-old Wu Sheng Yuan. They pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.

A joint operation between the anti-narcotics teams from the Federal and Johor police divisions busted a major drug syndicate with the arrest of eight people including two Singaporeans and a Thai woman.
