Goldsmith Shop Robbers Escaped with RM1 Million of Jewellery

Three men wearing crash helmets stormed into a Poh Hong goldsmith shop in Sungai Buloh yesterday at 8:45pm when the owner was closing shop and got away with RM1 million worth of jewellery. They fired several shots and a security guard was hit in the right leg at the shop along Jalan A/63 Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh.
The robbers, who were also wearing masks and armed with sledgehammers, got away on two motorcycles. The heist lasted four minutes.
Police found the sledgehammers and a pistol at the shop.
The 34-year-old guard has been warded at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
