Indonesian Masseuse Died Escaping from Robbers

35-year-old Surya Indah, an Indonesian masseuse, died from head trauma and massive internal bleeding after she jumped from the third floor of a shophouse in Batu Caves Centrepoint on Wednesday at 9pm. She was trying to run away from three robbers who had entered the massage parlour.

Two of the men were attended by Surya and her colleague, Rohana Roslan, when they entered the shop that night. Suddenly, the third man stormed in with two parang. The men ordered the women to give up their cash and valuables.

Surya rushed to a window and jumped from the third floor there. Meanwhile, the three suspects escaped with cash, jewellery and mobile phones. Surya was pronounced dead at the Selayang Hospital at 1am yesterday.

It is believed that the massage parlour was operated by Surya and was not licensed.
