A pensioner alerted immigration enforcement officers when he suspected suspicious activity in the hotel that he and family checked into in Triang on Monday. He noticed that men were regularly moving in and out of two hotel rooms there.
Officers from Kuantan entered the rooms and found four Indonesian women aged between 22 and 30 years old. The women are believed to have entered the country two weeks ago on social visit passes and have been forced into the sex trade. Customers were paying RM60 to have sex with each woman.
The hotel owner and a Felda settler have been remanded for investigations. The women have been handed over to the Indonesian Embassy.
