Mobile Phone Shop Robbers Fired Three Shots

Two robbers, armed with a gun and a parang, entered a mobile phone shop in Taman Jinjang yesterday night and held up the shop proprietor. A worker and four customers were also present.

They robbed the customers of their jewellery and watches, and even took some dummy mobile phones. Before leaving the shop, they fired two shots. One of the shots hit the proprietor in his abdomen. The proprietor then gave chase with a stick, but one of the robbers fired a third shot which hit the proprietor’s palm.

The robbers then took off in a white Perodua Kancil.
