Nurin’s Murder Case: Indonesian Woman Suspect Sentenced to Jail

Fitriani Junaidi, the 23-year-old Indonesian woman who was detained in connection with the kidnap and murder of 8-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, was sentenced yesterday to seven months’ jail for illegally entering the country.
Her sentence was to being from 11 October 2007 when when she was detained by the Immigration Department.
Fitriani pleaded guilty to committing the offence at the Enforcement Division of the Federal Territory Immigration Department, Level 5, Block I, Pusat Bandar Damansara, at 2:40pm that day.
