RM1.5 Million Drugs Seized in Four Raids

A joint operation between the anti-narcotics teams from the Federal and Johor police divisions busted a major drug syndicate with the arrest of eight people including two Singaporeans and a Thai woman. Police also discovered a drug processing lab at Bukit Ungku Aziz used to make synthetic drugs on Wednesday.
Raids on four separate locations found RM1.5 million worth of drugs including 12,636 ecstasy pills, 13,015 eramin five pills, 8kg of ecstasy in powder form, 6.1kg of ketamine, 102g of syabu, 500g of cannabis and 2,060g of white powder believed to be drugs of unspecified variety. Authorities also seized four cars, six laptops, jewellery, and RM40,120 cash in multiple currencies.
The seven men, aged between 27 and 58 years old, and the 27-year-old Thai woman have been detained to assist in police investigations.
