A security guard charged with the murder of a 4-year-old girl has been ordered by the court to seek psychiatric examination to determine if he is fit to stand trial. It is to be performed at Hospital Bahagia in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak.
Mohamad Tarmizi, aged 31, is charged with murdering Nor Akmarul Jannah Hasbullah in Tingkat Kenari, Sungai Ara. He faces the death sentence if convicted successfully.
