A couple, both aged 21, were at a food court in Plaza Alam Sentral at 4:30pm on 15 June 2006. A Shah Alarm City Council enforcement officer confronted them for indecent behaviour and asked for money to close the case.

The suspect, Abdul Razak Dalip, aged 48, then allegedly met them the next day to collect RM1,000 from them at the Syed Bistro Restaurant at Plaza Alam Sentral between 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

Under the Anti-Corruption Act 1997, the officer was charged in court with two counts of corruption yesterday. He claimed trial to both charges and posted bail at RM3,500 for each charge.

His cases have been fixed for 26 April 2007 for mention.
