Illegal Scrapyard with Stolen Cables Raided

Police found millions of ringgit worth of stolen aluminium and copper cables during a raid on an illegal scrapyard used to store second-hand goods. Thirteen workers on site, aged between 30 and 40 years old, were arrested.
A few tonnes of cables and equipment to strip and separate materials were seized. Police believe that the cables were owned by Telekom Malaysia Bhd and Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
