Kepong Double Murder Case: Chef Charged with Murder

The chef who was arrested for the murder of a beautician mother and her real estate agent housemate at their rented flat in Taman Usahawan, Kepong, last month has been charged in court yesterday for murder.
35-year-old Chua Hong Aik from Jelutong Avenue, Penang, had his charges read out in court. His wife and child were not present. He is accused of 36-year-old Ang Ching Ping and 31-year-old Wong Tan Yong between 12:16am and 12:45am on 24 September 2007.
Ang’s 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter are now in their uncle’s care.
Chua faces the death sentence if found guilty. The magistrate set 6 December 2007 for mention.
