A 52-year-old lorry driver was nabbed after he was suspected of raping his 16-year-old daughter for the past 4 years. The victim’s 49-year-old mother, who works as a restaurant chef, had found semen stains on her daughter’s panties and her husband’s pants at their home in Paroi, on 8 April 2009.

The daughter was the fifth out of seven children in the family.

Later, the mother confronted her daughter, who confessed that she had been repeatedly raped by her father since she was 12 years old and when they were living in Kuala Pilah. She was threatened by her father against reporting the rapes to anyone.

The mother brought her to lodge a report at the Seremban 2 police station on the same day. The daughter was then sent to the Seremban Hospital for a medical examination.

The lorry driver was arrested on 4 May 2009 and will be in police custody until 10 May 2009. Police have classified the case under Section 376A of the Penal Code for incest.
