RM6 Million Worth of Cigarettes and Beer Seized

About RM6 million worth of contraband cigarettes and beer were seized in several raids at the North Port, Port Klang, the officers from the Customs Department.
On Wednesday, the officers seized a container with 11 million cigarettes smuggled from Cambodia. Investigations revealed that the cigarettes were imported by a company in Kuantan. The seizure is believed to be worth RM4.8 million.
A shipping agent has been detained aid investigations.
