Four men, who wore sweaters and baseball caps, robbed a 29-year-old clerk of RM50,000 in front of a restaurant in Bandar Manjalara in Kepong yesterday at 1:30pm. They had followed her from a bank in Damansara where she just withdrew the cash from.

At the restaurant where the clerk worked, the robbers stopped their Toyota Vios vehicle next to the victim’s car. Three robbers approached the car. One of them had a parang and he smashed the window of the victim’s car while the other two entered from the front passenger side and grabbed the handbag with the money.

The robbers fled with the cash, a mobile phone and a wallet belonging to the victim.
