Federal CID director Commissioner Datuk Mohd Bakri Zinin said police has identified a suspect involved in the abduction of Sharlinie Mohd Nashar but has not detained the person. However, they have obtained DNA samples of the suspect and will be sending them to the United States for further analysis.
To date, it has been 85 days since Sharlinie has gone missing. Police are still conducting searches. Her father Mohd Nashar Mat Hussain believes that she is alive.
Yesterday, Sharlinie’s family received RM2,000 from the Petaling Jaya Selatan Umno division to support their financial situation.
