A 31-year-old stepfather had fondled his 9-year-old daughter’s private parts in their home in Taman Kenanga on 7 July 2007 at 8pm. The girl was also forced to perform oral sex on him while the mother was out at work.

After that, the suspect then raped the girl. The girl later confessed to a friend and a school teacher and a police report was made at the Tampoi station.

The suspect was arrested on Tuesday and remains in police custody until next Monday.
