Three men in their 20s covered their faces with ski masks and armed with sticks attempted to rob a jewellery shop in Bidor town yesterday at about 2:50pm.
They entered the shop and tried to smash a display cabinet glass but it only cracked slightly. When shop staff and customers started to raise the alarm, the gang ran away in a silver-gold Proton Waja.
One of the customers had thrown a stone at the car, causing a dent on it.
Police are now searching for the men.
