A 23-year-old domestic worker from Kampung Kubang Bemban in Pasir Mas was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by 10 men.
On Saturday at 8pm, the woman was throwing rubbish near her home when three men drove by in a car. Two of them came out and forced her into the car. They drove to a store behind a workshop in Kampung Padang Embun about 2km away.
Seven other men were called by one of the three to join in and they took turns to sodomise and and rape her.
Later, the woman pretended to be unconscious and eight of them left. She escaped from the remaining two men at 4am the next day when they were sleeping.
The woman lodged a police report at the Pasir Mas police station and was sent to the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kubang Kerian for a medical checkup. Initial investigations showed that she knew three of the suspects as one of them had been calling her several times out for dates.
