RM1 Million Stored Drugs Seized

Following a tip-off, police raided a house in Taman Johor Jaya believed to have been used as a drug storage facility and seized over RM1 million worth of drugs. A 37-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested during the raid on Tuesday at 4pm.
Police seized 1.02kg of syabu, 5,530 pills, RM5,105 cash, S$2,600 cash and £100 cash. A Proton Wira vehicle and a Perodua Viva vehicle were also seized under the Dangerous Drugs (Forfeiture of Property) Act 1988.
It is believed that the suspects were members of a drug distribution syndicate, which has been supplying drugs for the local market.
