Six men were arrested in connection with the kidnap and sexual abuse of a 18-year-old girl when she was having supper with her 24-year-old friend at midnight on Saturday.
Three men posed as Customs officers and forced them into a car. They drove to a hill resort where they demanded a RM10,000 ransom for their release. The girl’s friend called his friend to arrange for the deposit but could only raise RM6,000.
The kidnappers agreed to the amount and brought the two victims to a location in Kajang on Sunday. The girl was handed over to three Indonesian men while the man was brought to a bank to check the transaction. After the man was released, he lodged a police report.
Police stormed a house in Kajang a few hours later, rescued the girl, and arrested the three Indonesians. The three local men were later arrested, who were suspected to have sexually abused the girl.
