Couple Found Dead In Car With Carbon Monoxide

A couple was found dead in a car with the engine still running and a rubber hose connected to the exhaust pipe. It is believed that they have died from inhaling carbon monoxide.

Businessman Kuan Hock Ban, aged 48, and Ng Ah Ngoh, aged 45, were found slumped in their seats at an oil palm plantation in Mengkuang, Kubang Semang.

Kuan’s brother-in-law said the couple had been together for five to six years before separating and had resumed their relationship only recently.

Teenager Saved By Police As Two Youths Attempted Rape

A 15-year-old girl in Sibu was saved by the police from two young men who attempted to rape her. Police chased the men from Jalan Chew Siik Kiong to Sungai Engkalat where the suspects’ stolen vehicle fell into the Igan River.

Police were investigating a case of a stolen vehicle reported in Bintulu. When they found it, the suspects and the girl were inside. The driver sped off when approached.

The girl told the police that she met one of them two days ago and was invited to dinner on Tuesday. She claims that her drinks might have been spiked as she felt drowsy after dinner.

Former Footballer Involved in Armed Robbery at a ATM

L. Suresh, aged 36, together with store keeper S. Morgan Rao, aged 36, and an advertising company employee S. Thangaraj, aged 18, were charged with robbing a security guard at an automated teller machine. The ATM is located in Taman Connaught, Cheras.

Suresh works as a security guard at Safeguards Securicor.

Armed with knives, they robbed the guard of RM158,815. He was caught a few hours later.

The migistrate granted all three of them bail of RM7,000 each.

Suresh started playing football in 1990 with the Kuala Lumpur youth team and later played in the Merdeka Tournament in 1995. He, along with five teammates, did not get to play in the end as they broke curfew.

Suresh later played for Perak and Sabah, ending his football career in 2003.
