The father whose 14-month-old boy was found dead at home in Taman Templer, Rawang, will be questioned by the police to determine the cause of death. Hoo Wu Thon’s body was found by his mother who returned home in the morning on Friday.
Police will also speak to the boy’s two siblings, aged five and seven years.
Selayang Hospital doctors notified the police when they found bruises and swells on the boy’s body. Police have already taken a statement from the mother and a forensics team yesterday went to the home to conduct investigations.

The doll which was found near the home of missing 5-year-old Sharlinie Mohd Nashar in Taman Medan has been sent to the Chemistry Department for examination. The doll was found on Saturday by residents there.
Police are expecting some clues to surface from the fingerprint tests on the doll.
Sharlinie has been missing from a playground in Taman Medan on 9 January 2008.
Meanwhile, the Thai police and Interpol have agreed to assist local police in finding Sharlinie.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Arjunaidi Mohamed yesterday indicated that the police has made some significant breakthrough but declined to elaborate.

A woman co-owner of a budget hotel along India Street has been sentenced to a day’s jail and fined RM20,000 for permitting the hotel to be used as a brothel.
45-year-old Lai Phek Ping was assisting in the management of the Khiaw Hin Hotel on 14 February 2004 at 12:15pm when there were three sex workers and their clients in their rooms.
The offence carries a maximum jail term of 15 years and a fine.
Lai paid the fine, which is default for not serving the jail sentence.
