Two Pakistani nationals have been arrested in Sentul and Pantai Dalam last Monday for being involved in a foreign passport forgery syndicate. Police raided the house of a 24-year-old Pakistani in Sentul at 7am and a 29-year-old in Pantai Dalam later.

7 Pakistani passports with fake immigration security stamps, fake driving licences, international student cards, fake Italian visas and other foreign immigration permits were found and seized at the first house. 18 fake Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese and Afghanistan passports with immigration security stamps, fake international driving licences, international student identity cards, fake Italian visas and other foreign immigration permits were found and seized at the second house.

Police believe that the suspects have been in the forgery trade for the past two years, selling fake visas, permits and passports of various countries to foreigners who had overstayed. The documents were likely sold for between RM800 and RM1,500 each.

A 40-year-old taxi driver has been held by the police for the alleged murder of his 5-year-old son. The youngest of three siblings, the boy died at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital yesterday at 3am, possibly a victim of child abuse.

It is believed that the father had attempted to discipline the boy by using a cane at their home in Taman Kempas Baru. The boy tried to run from his father and fell and hit his head. Suspecting nothing was amiss, they went to bed later.

The boy’s father and 10-year-old sister had brought him to the hospital, claiming that he was vomiting non-stop. The doctor found multiple injuries on the boy’s body, suggesting that he was physically abused. The two were held at the Skudai police station while the 34-year-old mother was picked up later for questioning. She and the daughter were later released.

Police have classified the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and a post-mortem shall be conducted.

A foreign worker allegedly molested a 7-year-old girl at a theme park. The girl’s parents had lodged a report at the Section 11 police station yesterday after the incident occurred on Friday at 4pm.

The girl was at a water slide when the suspect had undone the front zipper of the girl’s swimsuit and held her by the shoulders. A 14-year-old girl witnessed the incident and alerted the mother. The suspect claimed that he was trying to save the girl from falling off the water slide.

The mother claimed that a theme park supervisor had offered the family discount vouchers and a holiday if they did not reported the matter to the police. A senior manager had asked them to wait until yesterday to investigate the matter and denied that the supervisor had made such an offer. He contacted the family yesterday to explain that the suspect was preventing the girl from performing dangerous stunts at the slide.

The theme park management had also lodged a report at the same police station.
